Spring 2026 registration starts in late November and runs through early March.
TBALL AND ROOKIES DIVSIONS: Teams will be grouped as best as we can by schools and area within NBLL boundaries. The season will begin in late March or early April and will be complete by mid-May.
MINORS, MAJORS, INTERMEDIATES, and SENIORS DIVISIONS ("Draftable Divisions"): Draftable divisions' baseball season practices are scheduled to begin in mid-March with Opening Day scheduled for early April. Softball season practices will begin in early March with Opening Day planned in late March. The spring season ends no later than the last week of the Boise School District academic year.
All players who are league age 9 - 13 are required to attend assessments prior to the start of the season (tentatively scheduled for February or March 2026) to identify their division placement. Players that are League Age 7 and 8 that wish to be considered for the Minors division MUST assess, otherwise they will be placed in Rookies. League Age 7 and 8 that do not wish to be considered for Minors do not need to assess. Assessments are NOT tryouts, rather they help the league determine what division your child should be placed in to create safe and balanced teams. Let's Play Bal!
